CIS 363 Week2

In week 2 I created a more detailed Visio site diagram of my website. My website "Community Day Care" is beginning to come along. I used to the week to research other day care websites to gain a better understanding of what information a day care tend to display on their web site.

I have a toddler and my wife and I are expecting our second child before the end of the year. Since my son starting day care last year my wife and I often wondered how much better our experience could be if the website was more interactive. Also, while we visited day cares in the selection process there was one daycare that almost won us over strictly because of their use of technology and their website. Parents, especially first time parents are very nervous when it comes to who provides childcare services and an interactive website can a long way in helping sell your daycare. I chose to use a web navigation structure for my website. I feel this is best since I want the user to be able to customize their experience and bounce around the webpages that interest them most on the website with relative ease.

Over the upcoming weeks I will continue to research ways to make my site more comprehensive and attractive to potential customers.
